WWII Radio Heroes- The Robert M. Spahr Story

In December 2008 I published a non-fictional account of WWII radio monitors. My grandfather, Robert M. Spahr, was captured in North Africa during WWII. He was sent to numerous camps in Germany during his near 26 month internment. My great-grandmother received nearly 100 postcards and letters from radio monitors (otherwise strangers to our family) living in the United States who heard of his capture and transfer as a prisoner via enemy airwaves. Their contributions are not widely known therefore The book contains a subset of the letters and elevates our knowledge about their significant roles during the war. The book is available in print, on audio and pdf.

The Coach's Guide to Wedding Planning (CGTWP) is now available.

The Guide offers brides a stress-free avenue for planning their wedding and actually enjoying their day. Too often brides become "bridezillas", lose focus on what the day is supposed to be about, and need the honeymoon just to relax from all the stress! I got married in May 2009 and have to confess it was easy! I loved it! My husband and I were stress-free, absent a few hours, during the 6 months process. And, I spent the hours before my wedding at the spa- without my blackberry!  If I can do it, so can you. Let me show you how. The Guide incorporates coaching
principles and guidance for the bride who has 12 months, 6 months and 1 month left until her big day. The Guide will is available now to wedding and bridal professionals at a wholesale price. They pass it on to their brides as an added-value to their service. Email us for prices and delivery dates available.
A Woman's Story

I began capturing women's stories a few years ago when on a business trip I started to contemplate the "significant moments" in my life. I wondered what the women I knew would consider their defining moments. I decided to ask them. The stories came in and I began to share them with other contributing women. Some stories were tragically sad and spoke of intense heartache while others were humorous and light-hearted. All were uplifting and empowering. I hope to continue working on this project on a larger scale and share stories with women across all barriers; social, economical, racial, geographical, etc...  I believe women's lives are enriched greatly by the bonds they create with other women. I am proud to be a part of that process.
